As announced back in January, LCRDC has been working hard on the opening of a new data centre located in its new £2m technology Super Hub.
Our new Data Centre, “Sandhills Substation” is home to 400Gbps of low latency internet connectivity and offers a wide range of colocation racks for customers requiring data centre space, local to the city centre.
Today, we are pleased to announce that the first stage of our new data centre build is now complete and now open for customers requiring data centre colocation space.
Potential customers may need space for cutting-edge GPU infrastructure, a quarter rack space for growing business, space to build a rendering farm or multiple 32A full racks for a Quantum Computing Project, either way, Sandhills Substation is here to provide commercial space on flexible and competitive terms.
The build of Sandhills Substation complements our other latest openings (such as Bootle Hornby and Wallasey Water Tower) with our longer term plans to consolidate some of our older data centres into these new modern AI enabled environments.
